How the Service Process Works

Discover Reef Electrical’s service process in the Whitsundays.

Step 1: Quote

Reach out to us via email or phone (0418 167 274) to discuss your project or problem. Your obligation-free quote is the first step in Reef Electrical's client process. We will schedule a time for one of our qualified electricians to visit the property and evaluate your needs.

No worries if the work needs to be done quickly; we can usually arrive that same day to address any pressing issues and discuss pricing before work commences.

Step 2: Site Visit

A site visit allows our team to fully understand the scope of work required, chat about timelines and ensure we’re all on the same page regarding your job requirements.

Step 3: Quote

After the site visit, we’ll put together a quote and scope of work and email it to you for review. The time it takes us to quote depends on the scale of the job. We try to make things crystal clear right away and make sure we’ve addressed everything you requested. We can walk you through it and break it down to make sure you understand everything it involves and are happy with it all.

Step 4: Acceptance of Quote

Once you’ve emailed your written agreement, we can schedule your work at a time that suits you and get started. Some works may require a deposit, depending on the scope and if special materials are required. However, this often is not the case. Any electrical work may disrupt your power supply so please keep this in mind when scheduling the job.

Step 5: Project Begins

We endeavour to be as efficient and unobtrusive as possible. Our team will keep you updated every step of the way.

Step 6: The Project is Completed

We turn over the project to you, complete with all required paperwork. We’ll walk through everything with you to make sure it’s all completed as agreed. Knowing that we have completed excellent work and are only a phone call away in case an issue arises will give you peace of mind.

All electrical work is carried out in accordance with Queensland legislative requirements, including Electrical Safety and Work Health Safety Acts, Codes of Practice, AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 4836 and all other relevant standards.
