Ryan McLeod Steinmetz

Managing Director & Licensed Electrician

Ryan has been at the helm of Reef Electrical since 2016, when he took on partial ownership with then-owner and director Bryan Harries, who had started the business in 1992. As Bryan was looking to retire, Ryan stepped up and took over the business full-time, becoming the sole owner in 2023.

Ryan and his wife, Angel, have been residents of the area for nearly 15 years after relocating from Brisbane, having fallen in love with the Whitsundays. Like other Whitsunday residents, Ryan spends his weekends lounging by the pool with a drink in hand and taking in the breathtaking views. When the weather permits, he and Angel can also be found on the water in their boat.

Ryan’s vision is to build a prosperous electrical business that meets the highest standards of excellence and empowers the community through innovation, sustainability and unwavering commitment to quality service.

Rachel Millard

Accounts and Office Manager

Rachel has been with the team at Reef Electrical as an accounting and office manager since 2015. Rachel has over 15 years of experience in accounts and administration, having previously worked in the mining and local government industry.

Rachel is also a mum of three young children and often works from home. On the weekend, you can find her at the gym, where she also works as a personal trainer, or getting out with her husband and children for a walk or picnic at the foreshore.
